About the Show
Political Corridor is a political programme that airs every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday between 5 pm to 6 pm. The programme focuses light on politicians and their manifestos, particularly in view of the upcoming elections. It features an in-depth review of various Nigerian politicians and their activities – political and social strategies, decampments, manoeuvres, acts of subterfuge, and the like. It asks questions like: Is politics a distraction from actual governance? Is it essential?
The live interactive show features some comparative analysis – are there parallels between today’s politicians and past political tacticians? Is there progress, regression, or mirroring? The programme is enriched with robust legal analysis where required, a distinguishing factor that separates/differentiates it from the average political programme.
Unique personalities are a constant on the show. We have had guests like Mr Hakeem Dickson: the Gubernatorial candidate of Accord Party running for governor of Lagos State, Mr Fouad Alade Oki: Political Strategist and APC Chieftain, Dr. Dele Asiru: the President of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) Lagos Chapter, Mr Hakeem Amode: PDP Publicity Secretary, Chief Dele Momodu: Publisher, Journalist and Businessman, Mr Omoyele Sowore, Hon. Babatunde Raji Fashola, among others.
The programme is anchored by Gbola Oba, a seasoned journalist, broadcaster, and political/social analyst.
