ABOUT

LAW FM Parliament is a show that mimics the proceedings of a Legislature in a lighthearted manner, specifically the presentation of a Bill and parliamentary debates.

The show has three anchors: one person who acts as the Speaker (referred to as “Most Distinguished Citizen”) and two people who act as legislators (referred to as “Distinguished Citizens”).

All callers are referred to as “Distinguished Citizens”. In every episode, the Most Distinguished Citizen presents a Bill, while the other opposes it.

The aim of this show is to imitate the National Assembly while exploring amusing yet thought-provoking hypothetical situations such as raising the legal drinking age, banning reality shows, nationalizing paternity leave, etc.
