Pardon Me If I’ve Hurt You: Buhari Appeals To Nigerians, Reflects On Tenure

President Muhammadu Buhari concluded the valedictory session of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) on Wednesday without dissolving his cabinet.

This indicates that the ministers will continue to hold their positions until May 29th.

The final meeting, presided over by the President in the Council Chamber of the presidential villa in Abuja, marked the end of his eight-year tenure.

Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, confirmed this to journalists following the valedictory Council meeting.

He clarified that the President had instructed all ministers to return to their offices and continue their duties.

Lai Mohammed emphasized that the news circulating about the dissolution of the Federal Executive Council is incorrect and clarified that it is still operational.
