The Lagos state government has announced that they will be traffic diversion from some routes within the state due to the event of the presidential and governorship rallies of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, that will be taking place in Surulere at the Teslim Balogun Stadium on Saturday, November 26, 2022.
The Commissioner for Transportation, Frederic Oladeinde, on Wednesday, through a press release advised residents of the state to plan their movement on the day of the rallies.
The commissioner said in the press release that directional signs, tow vehicles, and barricades would be made available, and promised hands-on support from traffic management personnel to motorists and pedestrians during the rallies.
Oladeinde also said that only accredited vehicles, security, emergency, and essential services vehicles would be provided access at the diversion points.
According to the statement, the rallies are planned to start from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday.
